77-year-old Niels Hausgaard is currently suffering from a serious illness in his immediate family.
This is confirmed by the troubadour’s manager, Frank Panduro, to Ekstra Bladet.
Hausgaard is currently embarking on his Denmark tour ‘Let it be now’, which started in mid-February.
After a few concerts, however, he had to cancel when he and pianist Martin Schack tested positive for the corona.
However, the tour was quickly resumed, but now it is again on canceled concerts.
According to his manager, all performances have been tentatively canceled this week.
Frank Panduro does not want to go into detail about the nature of the disease, nor will he tell who in Hausgaard’s family is ill.
– Niels is a very dutiful man, so something needs to happen before he cancels, he says to Ekstra Bladet.
However, Niels Hausgaard can be seen on TV 2 PLAY from Sunday, where the third season of the series ‘Minkavlerne’ premieres.
