Pfizer CEO Albert Burla tests positive for coronavirus

Pfizer CEO Albert Burla has tested positive for COVID-19. In his twitter he wrote that has mild symptoms of the disease, but feels well. He began taking the drug Paxlovid, developed by his company to treat coronavirus infection.

Albert Bourla also noted that he had been vaccinated against COVID-19 four times. At the moment, he is in self-isolation, and also takes all precautions so as not to infect others.

Bloomberg wrote that after the news that the Pfizer CEO had contracted the coronavirus, the company’s shares on the New York Stock Exchange fell by 0.7%.
