US military personnel will be able to receive testosterone to improve efficiency

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said military personnel over 30 years of age will be tested for testosterone as part of their annual medical screening. Those who have a low level will be able to receive hormonal therapy.

“The goal of this innovation is to provide the testosterone levels necessary to perform at the highest level. Our duty is to provide fighters with the best medical care in the world. The new program does just that,” the minister said.

It is unclear from Hegseth’s statement whether the therapy will also be available to women. However, it is reported that military personnel under 30 years of age will also be able to request verification.
