6 fruits have seeds rich in vitamins and minerals that are good for digestion

Avocado, passion fruit, dragon fruit and guava are rich in vitamins and minerals that help protect cells, boost immunity, and are good for digestion.

Passion fruit

Theo Very Well Health, Passion fruit contains lots of vitamin C, beta-carotene, polyphenols and flavonoids. The fruit also provides soluble fiber and beneficial plant compounds.

Soluble fiber helps slow down the digestive process, supports blood sugar balance after meals and feeds beneficial bacteria in the intestines. Potassium and magnesium also contribute to maintaining normal functioning of the muscles and nervous system. You can eat the passion fruit pulp directly or combine it with yogurt, oatmeal and smoothies.

Dragon fruit

Dragon fruit is rich in betalains, a group of pigments with antioxidant properties. This fruit also provides vitamin C and fiber. Vitamin C supports the immune system and collagen production, while fiber helps increase stool volume and ease bowel movements.

Guava

Guava is a fruit rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, folate and fiber, which helps support bowel movements. Eating guava regularly can reduce the risk of constipation, while creating a favorable environment for intestinal microflora to develop. Vitamin C and antioxidants in guava help protect cells from the effects of free radicals.

Butter

Avocados contain monounsaturated fats, vitamins E, K, folate, potassium, magnesium, and are quite high in fiber. The fiber in avocados can increase feelings of fullness, support bowel movements and contribute to maintaining a healthy intestinal microflora. Meanwhile, healthy fats help the body better absorb fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamins A, D, E and K.

Avocado can be combined with salad, wholemeal bread or eaten with yogurt to increase nutritional value.

Mango

Mangoes provide vitamin A, fiber, and are good for the eyes, skin and digestive system. However, ripe mangoes have quite a high amount of natural sugar, so diabetics should consult a doctor before eating. This fruit is also rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene and mangiferin – a compound that can protect cells against oxidative stress, according to Times of India.

Plum

Plums contain a lot of anthocyanins, vitamin C and phenolic compounds that have antioxidant properties, contributing to reducing the effects of oxidation in the body. Plums are also rich in fiber, which aids digestion and maintains a feeling of fullness. This fruit can be eaten directly or combined in fruit salad.
