Red Star basketball coach Dejan Radonjic said today that the second game of the ABA League finals against Partizan will be even more intense, adding that his team must play that match with great energy and responsibility.
“We are expecting an even more intense match in the schedule according to which the finals are played every two days. We must be ready to defend the home field once again,” Radonjic said for the club’s website.
Last night, the Red Star basketball players defeated the Partizan team with 90:76 and took the lead with 1: 0 in the finals of the ABA League playoffs, and tomorrow they will meet the black and whites again in the second game of the final series.
“We are aware of the greater importance of the second match against Partizan, so we must be very concentrated, to play this game with great energy and responsibility, which has become even more important due to the schedule,” said Radonjic, adding that he expects even greater support from the stands.
Zvezda basketball player Ognjen Dobrić said that his team has an even harder game than the first one.
“We have to play even better, even stronger and with even more concentration because this game is even more important than the first one. I invite our fans to come tomorrow in even greater numbers and give us even greater and even louder support,” said Dobrić.
The second game of the finals of the ABA league between Crvena zvezda and Partizan is on the program tomorrow at 8 pm in the “Aleksandar Nikolić” hall.
