Maksimir will be sold out, Dinamo – Bodo/Glimt, record attendance

On Monday at 11 a.m., ticket sales for the return match began at Maksimir Dinamo and Bodo/Glimta in the play-off of the Champions League, which will be played on Wednesday at 9 p.m. Despite the rain and cold and regardless of the possibility of online shopping, there is no better feeling than when you have a valuable piece of paper in your hands.

Long queues formed at Maksimir from early morning, the lower western stand was sold out already after five hours, and Dinamo announced on Tuesday morning that the tickets for the north down and the west up were sold out! If you want to go to the match, but are thinking twice because of the possible rain that threatens, your tickets will not be waiting for long. The only stand available is the north one, and there are only 1,700 available tickets left.

– On Tuesday morning, individual tickets for the stand west up and north down for the return match of the UEFA Champions League play-off Dinamo – Bodø/Glimt were sold out! Yesterday, on the first day of sales, individual tickets for the stand in the west were sold out in just a few hours. Dinamo – Bodø/Glimt individual tickets for the North Up stand are still on sale – Dinamo announced.

The eastern stand is out of order, so the total capacity of Maksimir is 23,500. Considering that all the stands are almost sold out and when we reject the southern stand where about a hundred Norwegian fans should find their place, the ‘Blues’ should be cheered on by around 20,000 fans on Wednesday! Of course, if everyone comes, and the rain is the only condition for that, because it is not very pleasant to sit on the uncovered and dilapidated Maksimir and get wet.

Anyway, a hellish atmosphere will await Bodo/Glimt, and Dinamo will have a big wind at their backs on the way to the group stage of the Champions League. Moreover, it could be the most attended game in the last three years. The last time more than 20,000 fans gathered at Maksimir was three years ago when Manchester City visited, more than 29,395 souls watched the spectacle, and the figure of 20,000 was not far off even three months ago when Hajduk visited in the last round of the HNL . The Blues celebrated the title in front of 18,000 spectators.

Everything is ready for a spectacle, the fans will not disappoint, and now it’s all up to Ante Čačić’s players who, on the wings of massive support, have the opportunity to enter the group stage of the Champions League for the eighth time.
