Julián Álvarez and Giuliano Simeone travel to London

The Argentine footballers Julián Álvarez and Giuliano Simeone entered the Atlético de Madrid squad provided this Monday by coach Diego Pablo Simeone for the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals this Tuesday (9:00 p.m.) at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Both players, who ended the first match at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano with discomfort and were not part of the red and white expedition for the league duel in Valencia, seem to be recovered and available for the Argentine coach.

In addition, the Uruguayan defender José María Giménez, out of the team’s dynamics since the beginning of April, and the Slovakian center back Dávid Hancko and the Spanish midfielder Koke Resurrección, who rested this weekend, also entered this list.

The youth players Javier Boñar, Julio Díaz and Iker Luque appear on the list for the match in London, who in recent weeks have been playing a leading role with the first team; while the injured Pablo Barrios and Nico González continue with their respective recovery processes and will be Simeone’s only casualties for this important match.

Thus, the call is made up of goalkeepers Juan Musso, Jan Oblak and Salvador Esquivel; the defenders José María Giménez, Matteo Ruggeri, Clément Lenglet, Nahuel Molina, Dávid Hancko, Marc Pubill, Robin Le Normand, Javier Boñar and Julio Díaz; the midfielders Rodrigo Mendoza, Johnny Cardoso, Koke Resurrección, Álex Baena, Marcos Llorente and Obed Vargas; and the forwards Antoine Griezmann, Alexander Sorloth, Thiago Almada, Julián Álvarez, Giuliano Simeone, Ademola Lookman and Iker Luque.
