French Grand Prix: Bagnaia wins pole, Marquez mocked

Pecco Bagnaia took pole in the MotoGP for the French Grand Prix. On the Le Mans circuitthe Turin driver preceded by just 12 thousandths Marc Marquez. The world championship leader will also be in the front row with two Ducatis Marco Bezzecchi. In the second row Fabio Di Giannantonio preceded Acosta and Quartararo in that order. Third row for Mir ahead of Marti’n and Ogura, then Alex Marquez, Zarco and Rins.

“Feeling more at the limit with the bike gives pleasure”, commented Bagnaia. “From the Jerez tests“, explained the driver from Turin, “we tried some things that now help, I tried to match Marc’s time in Q1 but he moved the limit very high. For the race pace we are in quite good shape.”

The new hull? “It’s helping me to bring more speed into the corners,” said Bagnaia, “with the first tire braking I couldn’t be efficient, then in the pits they made a small change that helped me in the second attempt.”
