Florentino: “Now that there is a candidate we understand everything, they are the same ones from the most sinister stage of Real Madrid”

The candidate for the presidency of Real Madrid Florentino Pérez officially presented this Wednesday his proposal to be re-elected in the June 7 elections, defending that his stage has been “democratic” and “transparent”, in addition to one of the “most important cycles” in the history of a white club that, with the other candidate, Enrique Riquelme, would return to its “most sinister” stage.

“The unity of all of us is our strength, a Real Madrid that is going to continue living one of the most important cycles in our history,” Florentino began before those present in the auditorium of the Meliá Castilla Hotel in Madrid.

Under the motto ‘A lot of history to make’, and after a video of his campaign that he already published on Tuesday, Florentino noted at the beginning of his appearance that, after 26 years, the “easy thing would have been to continue” in office. “For months now I have been detecting a shadow campaign, also in the media, with the aim of destabilizing Real Madrid with personal attacks against me. Real Madrid is a democratic and transparent club, what they are saying is not true,” he said.

They are not coming to serve Madrid, they are coming to serve Real Madrid,” he added, referring to Enrique Riquelme’s candidacy also presented this Wednesday.
