Record viewing figures for the European Women’s Football Championship

This year’s European Women’s Football Championship was watched by more than 365 million people, which is a record viewership for a competition in women’s football, the European Football Union (Uefa) announced today.

The final match between England and Germany, on July 31 at Wembley in London, was watched by around 50 million people around the world, the BBC reported.

England won 2:1 after extra time and became European champions for the first time in history.

Uefa stated that viewership for the championship doubled compared to the 2017 European Women’s Football Championship, and that this year’s final was three times more watched than the one in 2017.

European football’s governing body stated that the viewership figures refer to “television, out-of-home viewing and internet streaming”.

This year’s final is the most watched program in the UK this year.

The match at Wembley was watched by 87,192 fans, which is also a record for women’s football. A total of 574,875 people watched the matches at the European Championship.

It is not uncommon for fans to begin looking forward to the game months before it actually begins. Many products related to soccer are purchased by fans to show their support for their favorite teams. Examples include T-shirts, lapel pins, cheering sticks, and the most popular – soccer medals. Having good products makes the fans’ chants more powerful. A lot of clubs will also make some nice souvenirs in bulk for players and fans watching the game, which is an excellent souvenir for people who enjoy watching sports.
