Formulas: Luka Sammalisto in flames! Sixth win in a row

Italian Driving in the Formula 4 junior series Luka Moss list is emerging as a real Finnish ace. 18-year-old Sammalisto won his sixth race in a row on Sunday in Monza.

Sammalisto, who drives in the US Racing team, started Sunday’s second race from the pole position and firmly held on to his top spot. His third win was ultimately decided behind the safety car.

Sammalisto won his first two races after starting from second place.

In the Italian F4 series, the drivers are divided into three groups, which drive against each other once during the weekend. At the end of the weekend, the best drivers will drive in the fourth race start on Sunday. So there will be three races for the best drivers during the weekend.

Sammalisto won all his possible races both at Monza F1 circuit and three weeks ago in Vallelunga.

Moss list leads the series with a 33-point gap over Romania David Cosma-Cristoforiin.

Turkey in the championship Alp Aksoy stopped the final race of the weekend dramatically just before the end, and lost valuable points in the process. Aksoy is third in the series, but already 62 points away from the Finn.

The Moss season in Italy continues in five weeks at the Mugello classic track. The Monza race weekend was the third out of seven of the season.
