Top scorer in the Brasileirão, Viveros completes one year of Athletico and declares himself

For his arrival, Furacão disbursed 5 million dollars (R$ 27.54 million at the time) to acquire 70% of the economic rights until June 30, 2028. The other 30% went to Atlético Nacional, from Colombia. The values ​​turned the striker into the biggest signing in the club’s history.

In an interview on the club’s social media, Viveros recalled his debut, spoke about 365 days of Hurricane and thanked all the support from the fans, whether in the stadium or on the streets of Curitiba. According to the 26-year-old striker, affection was fundamental for his quick adaptation in the city and his good performance on the field.

“For me it’s everything, because it’s giving me the chance to show who I am. I’m very happy, I’m also very happy with the affection I receive from all the people, from all the fans, when I go out on the street, my neighbors show me that affection. And that makes me feel like I’m doing things well, here in Curitiba, here at Athletico. A year passed very quickly, but it was a year of many beautiful experiences.
