Paraná renews access goalkeepers and aims for new reinforcement for the goal

Paraná Club continued planning for the 2026/2027 season and confirmed the goalkeepers’ contract renewal Juliano e Cabralwho participated in the campaign to gain access to the elite of the Paranaense Championship.

A starter for much of the Second Division, Juliano played 11 matches and was one of Tricolor’s highlights in their return to the state’s first division, with decisive performances in important moments of the competition.

After agreeing to stay, the goalkeeper celebrated the renewal. “I’m very happy to continue wearing the Paraná Clube shirt. Since I arrived here during my first stay, I was very well received and experienced unforgettable moments with this shirt. Now it’s time to continue working hard to seek new goals and continue honoring this traditional shirt”, he stated.

The number 1’s new contract runs until the end of the 2027 Paranaense Championship.

Cabral also remains

Another goalkeeper who will remain at Paraná Clube is Cabral. The archer started the Premier League as a starter and took to the field in four matches during the access campaign.

Unlike Juliano, Cabral’s new contract has a shorter duration and will be valid until the end of this year’s Copa Paraná dispute.

Tricolor seeks third goalkeeper

Even with the renovations, the Paraná Clube board remains attentive to the market in search of another goalkeeper to join the squad. One of the names monitored is Matheus Barônio, 23, from Curitiba, who was at URT-MG. The information was released by the journalist Luiz Ferraz.

Revealed by ABC, the goalkeeper has played for Altos, Araxá, Laranja Mecânica, Oeste Brasil, VOCEM and Patriotas.
