ATP ranking, Sinner in command for 83 weeks. Alcaraz regains second place

Sinner consolidates its leadership in world tennis. With the current one, the South Tyrolean champion’s weeks as world number 1 become 83, which remains stable in front of everyone in the ATP ranking, updated today, still awaiting the outcome of the final Washington bro Taylor Fritz e Rafael Jodar.

Sinner leads world tennis

Blue rules international ranking with his 13,450 points. Small change behind the South Tyrolean: the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz (out of action since April 14 due to a right wrist injury) he returned to the second place, overtaking the German Alxander Zverev, who fell to third place.

Alcaraz regains second position

Carlitos in fact he does not have to ‘defend’ any record on the occasion of the Montreal Masters 1000, scheduled today until August 13 on Canadian hard courts and in which he will not take part.

Zverev instead he sees i ‘evaporate’ (momentarily). 400 points conquered last year, when he was defeated in the semifinals by the Russian Karen Khachanov. The German thus loses a virtual position and temporarily slips into third place.

Cobolli rises to eighth place, a double leap for Musetti

He improves his record, gaining one step, Flavio Cobolli, which is now number 8. Double leap forward instead Lorenzo Musetti, back on the playing fields in the US capital, climbed to the step number 13.
