ÖFB team player switches to the Italian champions

Laura Feiersinger is leaving Eintracht Frankfurt and will play for AS Roma in Serie A next season

Laura Feiersinger reorients himself and turns his back on Germany after 13 years. The 105-fold Austrian team player will be hunting for goals for AS Roma in the future, the club from the Italian capital is currently number one in the country and reigning champion.

Laura Feiersinger had already been part of the inventory of German women’s football. The 30-year-old from Pinzgau had already switched to Herforder SV in 2010, followed by positions at FC Bayern and SC Sand. The daughter of Wolfgang Feiersinger, who won the Champions League with Dortmund in 1997, has been under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt for the past five years.

Laura Feiersinger follows another Austrian at AS Roma. Carina Wenninger played for the Giallo Rossi last season and raved about the enthusiasm for football in the eternal city. “In Rome, football is like a religion.”
