“Fly Mika, you can”. With this sentence written on a ski, Sofia Goggia gave her equipment to Mikaela Shiffrin for the descent in the alpine combined of the Beijing 2022 Games. This was announced on Twitter by the same US federation. The gesture of the Italian moved the American athlete who posted a photo of her on her social media as she points to her writing on the ski. For Shiffrin, however, it was not a lucky Olympics, badly in the giant and failed in the combined despite the encouragement of Sofia Goggia.
