– I did not believe that 10 consecutive victories were possible – said Verstappen with a smile and added:

Second place was won by his teammate Sergio Perezwhile the third was a Spaniard Carlos Sainz in Ferrari, his first podium of the season, after starting from pole position and leading until the 15th of 51 laps.

Very close behind Sainz in fourth place was another Ferrari driver, Charles Leclerc. Behind the two Red Bulls and Ferrari, there were two Mercedes – Lewis Hamilton i George Russell in fifth and sixth place.

The medal ceremony in Monza could not pass without the famous flag. As in the past two years, the winner of Monza was almost nowhere to be seen from the Čapljina flag.

A man from Čapljina has been going to Formula 1 races in Italy for years, and each time he places the flag he takes with him in front of the balcony where the winners are. Two years ago, Lewis Hamilton listened to the anthem of Great Britain while the flag of Herceg-Bosnia was flying next to him, and last season Charles Leclerc was looking at the same flag.
