WAC trainer Robin Dutt was concerned and moved. “It was the most important action of the day, we are all proud of Locho for acting with such quick wit. It was an unbelievable achievement.”

Austria coach Manfred Schmid also applauded the WAC defender. “You can only congratulate him on this act and say thank you. Even if you have first aid training, it’s not easy.”

According to Schmid, Teigl was then conscious again. “Of course he was still confused, but he asked me if we won. Given the circumstances, he’s fine.”
