The RFEF is freed from the latest rigging of the Rubiales plot because the contract is unsigned

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) is going to get rid of the latest rigging of the Rubiales plot in favor of the construction company Gruconsa because the contract with the construction company is unsigned. The entity he currently presides over Pedro Rocha had not signed before the large judicial operation carried out a few days ago the agreement with the company to which works worth 1.3 million to reform the Las Rozas Football City.

As EL MUNDO has learned, not only has the contract not been signed with the entity accused of bribing the former president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, but Neither has the work been carried out nor has a single invoice been paid. This operation will, therefore, finally be aborted since the Management Commission of the RFEF has decided to abort any type of relationship with Gruconsa.

In relation to the last contract with this construction company, where Ángel González Segura worksbrother of the legal head of Rubiales, the body that governs Spanish football has also decided to annul the execution of the proposal presented by the Infrastructure Area and which was approved by the Economic Commission.

It is worth remembering that, as this newspaper exclusively revealed, the Civil Guard has focused on the tender awarded on February 27 that deals with renovation works in the Las Rozas Football City.

These are works related, among other issues, to the adaptation of the urban planning license granted by the Las Rozas City Council to various facilities in the complex. Among others, the residence and the kitchens. Researchers suspect that the awardto which three offers were submitted, could have been rigged to favor the aforementioned construction company. In this sense, the Civil Guard considers that at least two of these proposals were fictitious and who acted as what in judicial jargon is called ‘mariachis’.

Divert funds

According to the investigating judge, the former president of Spanish football led a plot consisting of granting works to Gruconsa to then collect illegal commissions for them. In the opinion of the Judicial Police, the mechanics consisted of granting contracts to this company, such as the renovation of the La Cartuja Stadium in Seville for a million euros, to then divert funds to the companies of the close friend of Rubiales, Francisco Javier Martín AlcaideNene. The next step, according to the investigation, was for Rubiales to collect from his intimate companies. Nenespecifically from Conecta 17 Consulting, SL

According to various sources close to the operation, the key figure in the last award to Gruconsa was Jose Javier Jimenezalias Jota, former director of Human Resources detained by the Civil Guard precisely for his participation in this operation.
