Italian Cup, there is Juventus-Lazio. Allegri takes a risk

Tonight at 9pm at the Allianz Stadium (live on Canale 5) the first semi-final of the Italian Cup between Juventus and Lazio. It is the first leg (the return is scheduled at the Olimpico on April 23) of a match that offers access to the final and the guarantee of playing in the next Italian Super Cup. Especially for Massimiliano Allegri’s Bianconeri, the Italian Cup could be a possible lifesaver for a season that is becoming disappointing, given that in three months they have gone from fighting for the Scudetto to having to defend a Champions League place.

In the championship starter, last Saturday at the Olimpico, the Biancocelesti prevailed at the last minute with Marusic’s goal a few seconds before the final whistle. The dream debut on the Lazio bench for the former Igor Tudor has plunged Juventus into a crisis who have only scored seven points in nine games since the end of January. The Bianconeri have Vlahovic back in attack, looking for his first goals in this edition of the cup.

At his side runoff between Chiesa and Yildiz, while Gatti should return in defense with McKennie in midfield in place of Miretti. In Lazio a mini-turnover is possible (the derby is on Saturday) with Immobile ahead of Castellanos and who could be supported by Luis Alberto and Zaccagni. In the middle of very open ballots and Guendouzi and Vecino could win for Cataldi and Kamada.
