On May 7th, the Berliner Sophie Alisch (20) is supposed to get back into the ring in Cologne. But before the fists fly, the Berliner has made a mega deal. She cooperates with superstar and ex-heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua (32/England).
The featherweight, unbeaten in seven professional fights, signed a long-term contract with Joshua and his management company “258 MGT”.
Joshua and his team will be responsible for the exclusive marketing and management of Alisch in the UK market. In Germany it will continue to be managed by O1NE.Sport GmbH led by Daniel Todorovic.
Alisch: “I am very honored to have two strong partners at my side, 258 MGT and O1NE.Sport, on an international and national level.”
The English are also looking forward to Sophie Alisch. “Women’s boxing is better positioned than ever at the moment and is getting stronger. We are very happy to have found the next potential star of the sport in Sophie. Our goal is to develop Sophie internationally and take her to the top of her weight class,” said Joshua Management Freddy Cunningham.
