It is expected that the FIFA Disciplinary Committee will announce the final decision on whether to replay the match or not, no later than Thursday, April 21, which is the date for considering Egypt’s complaints against Senegal and Algeria against Cameroon, in addition to several other files.

The Disciplinary Committee did not meet during the past few days, according to assurances from the CAF and FIFA committees, which indicated that everything related to the events that occurred in the two matches would be considered.

The Board of Directors of the Football Association headed by Gamal Allam, with new documents to the Disciplinary Committee of the International Football Association, was among the complaint submitted against Senegal, during which the Egyptian Football Association demanded the approval of the qualification of the Pharaohs to the World Cup 2022 or the replay of its match against Senegal in the second leg of the final stage of the African qualifying qualifiers. for the World Cup.

Akhbar Al-Youm portal learned that the Football Association received new videos, especially from some of the fans who attended the return match at Abdullah Wade Stadium, which revealed the existence of organized actions towards the team’s players inside the stadium, and not unique actions, especially by using lasers in a systematic and not random way from the stands towards Pharaohs players.
The Egyptian Football Association sent the new documents to FIFA to support the complaint before issuing the decision next week.

A source within the Confederation of African Football had confirmed earlier that the disciplinary committees within CAF and FIFA had, during the past few days, studied the reports submitted by the match referee, the observer of the referees committee, the match observer, security and media coordinators, in addition to watching all the videos, whether from television broadcasts or Other.
