At least they have a little smile back!
Cristiano Ronaldo (37) published the first photo with his newborn daughter on his Instagram page late Thursday evening. The Manchester United star holds the little girl in his left arm. Next to him are his partner Georgina Rodriguez (28) and the other four children.
Ronaldo writes about his post: “Home sweet home. Gio and our little girl are finally back with us. We would like to thank everyone for the many kind words and gestures. Your support is very important and we have all felt the love and respect you have for our family. Now is the time to be thankful for the life we just welcomed into this world.”
Just a few days ago, Ronaldo and his girlfriend had to cope with a heavy blow of fate. Because, as the two announced on Instagram on Easter Monday, their son died at birth. Rodriguez was pregnant with twins. Only the girl survived the birth – and according to the current post, is doing well.
Rodriguez and the soccer icon have been a couple since autumn 2016 and already have a daughter together, Alana Martina (4), who was born in November 2017.
Ronaldo also has three other children, whom he brought into the relationship. The mother of his son Cristiano Jr. (11) is unknown. Twins Eva and Mateo (4) were born to a surrogate mother.
