Meta Announces Instagram Creator Marketplace Alongside New Monetization Options

Meta has announced new revenue options for video creators on Facebook and Instagram, including a new marketplace and the expansion of the Reels bonus program.

According to Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook post, the business is now developing a creator marketplace on Instagram, where they may “be recognized and paid.”

With the new interoperable subscriptions, creators will be able to provide subscribers who have access to exclusive Facebook groups on other platforms. And now that stars are being offered to all eligible artists, you can monetise live broadcasts, movies, and Reels according on the amount of these elements you receive.

In addition, Zuckerberg announced the launch of the Reels monetization scheme (Play Bonus), which would “soon” be available to “additional Facebook producers.” It will also allow Instagram Reels to be published and monetized on the main social network.

Digital collectibles are the center of another novelty. The current Instagram test, in which Meta allows creators to display their non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, will be expanded to include more people and will soon be available on Facebook as well. The latter will be tested in the United States and will allow cross-posting across the two sites.

Similarly, Zuckerberg has stated that any fees levied to creators by Facebook and Instagram for their earnings will be postponed. until the year 2024
