Gemini becomes more personal in Spain with the memory function and the ability to import chat history

Google has updated Gemini in Spain so you experience with this artificial intelligence (AI) assistant adapts to the user instead of offering you generic answers, and for this it has introduced the memory setting, so you can use information from previous conversations, and the ability to import chat history from other applications.

Gemini will be able to use previous conversations with the new ‘Memory’ settingwith which Google’s AI will be able to access details and preferences shared with it so that responses are more personalized.

This adjustment arrives this Wednesday in Spain activated by defaultbut the user can deactivate it – or activate it again – at any time, as confirmed by Google in a press release.

Google has also incorporated the possibility of Directly import conversation history from other AI apps into Geminiso that the user does not have to start from scratch with this assistant and can have personalized responses based on their memories, context and chat history.

The technology company explains that memories (or memory) can be imported from the new option enabled in the Gemini settings, where you will have to paste the generated summary for the other application.

In the case of chat history, it is uploaded to a ZIP compressed filewhich the other AI applications must generate, allowing you to continue conversations in Gemini from the same point where they left off.
