For about four years the world has been experiencing an accelerated race for artificial intelligence. This Tuesday the Peruvian government presented its National Artificial Intelligence Strategy (ENIA) 2026-2030, which will be the roadmap for the development of this technology in our country.
The ENIA was approved through Ministerial Resolution No. 152-2026-PCM, the government reported in a press release.
For his part, the Secretary of Government and Digital Transformation, Ricardo Zapata, pointed out that the ENIA is an instrument that will allow Peru to take advantage of AI with a strategic vision.
Its implementation will occur through four fundamental axes in an articulated manner: development of talent and capabilities in AI; innovation and entrepreneurship based on AI; ethical and regulatory framework for AI; and citizen participation and collaboration in AI.
