X adds a new ‘History’ tab that saves posts, videos and articles for re-viewing

Social X has implemented a new ‘History’ tab which privately collects all bookmarked posts, long videos, articles and ‘Liked’ content, so users can return to this content and continue reading at any time.

This new ‘History’ tab has been initially released for the app version for iOS devices and acts as a space where Save content of interest so you can return to it laterwithout losing it in the ‘feed’.

This was announced by the product director of X, Nikita Bier, in a publication in X, where she described this new function as an option for Help users “keep track” of all their favorite content on the social network ‘microblogging’.

Today we’re rolling out a new History tab on iOS to help you keep track of all your favorite content on X.

Bookmarks, Long Videos, Articles and Likes will live here — so you can always come back and continue watching or reading.

The ‘History’ tab will be located in the left side menu of the ‘app’ and will include all types of content, both publications with bookmarks, videos and long articles, like the Posts marked with ‘Like’ so that you can always “come back and continue watching or reading.”

It should be noted that this tab is will keep private for usersso that it acts as a personal collection of content, without other people being able to view it on the social network profile. Furthermore, the Content will be automatically organized based on post type and it will be added to the ‘History’ tab depending on what users see in the main ‘feed’.

“The timeline moves quickly, so we hope this creates a better place to catch up on long-form content,” Bier explained. Likewise, as TechCrunch has clarified, this new ‘History’ tab will replace the current ‘Bookmarks’, unifying all the content.
