Instagram and Facebook suffer a global drop that prevents their normal operation

Insagram, Facebook, Threads y Messengerhave suffered a drop in its services globally this Fridaywhich also affects Spain and is causing problems in the normal functioning of social networks.

The failures on the platforms owned by Meta have begun to be recorded after 3:00 p.m. (peninsular time) this Friday, June 12, including loading errors, as well as preventing you from logging in, sending messages or sharing and viewing publications.

This has been recorded by the specialized portals Downdetector and Outage.Report, which detail incidents on Insagram, Facebook, Threads and Messenger, adding that it is a fall that has affected users globallyincluding Spain, the United States, Australia and Japan, among other regions.

For the moment, the problem persists and the origin is unknown of these failures in Meta services, which seem generalized across all its platforms. Likewise, the company has not shared information about it.
