Meta presented its cheapest smart glasses: they have simultaneous translation and an AI that interprets the environment

The company also highlights a system of multiple microphones with advanced wind noise cancellation to improve conversation quality and voice recognition.

The differential of these smart glasses is marked by the incorporation of Muse Sparka new artificial intelligence model developed by Meta Superintelligence Labs.

This technology allows the lenses interpret the user’s visual environment and answer contextualized questions about what you are observing in real time.

In turn, Meta Glasses can offer sports informationrestaurant recommendations, assistance with task organization and contextual help based on images captured by the integrated camera.

Additionally, Meta announced new features coming via software updates, including guided pedestrian navigation and Simultaneous real-time translation for 20 languagesincluding Spanish, English, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese and Hindi.

Although the Ray-Ban Meta are the most popular proposal and closest to traditional glasses for daily use and the Oakley Meta are more oriented towards sports; the Meta Glasseson the other hand, function as their own finish line and EssilorLuxotticafocused on customization, diversity of styles and integration from day one with the latest artificial intelligence capabilities.

The new Meta Glasses are based on the $299 in the United States, which makes them the most accessible alternative within the Meta smart glasses ecosystem.
