Israeli technology takes another step into the alcohol-free wine market: the Austrian brand Zeronimo, produced in the Prodelim Group’s factory using the SOLOS technology owned by the company, won first place in the USA TODAY 10Best competition for 2026, in the best alcohol-free wine category.

Winning the competition, based on the audience’s choice, gives the Israeli company a significant achievement in the international market of non-alcoholic beverages, which has been growing in recent years.

Prodelim, which deals in solutions and natural ingredients for the beverage and food industry, developed the SOLOS technology for the production process of alcohol-free beverages. In the case of Zeronimo, these are wines based on grapes from old Austrian vines, 50 to 90 years old, from local varieties including Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt.

The wine goes through a process of alcohol removal at the Prodelim factory, the aim of which is to preserve as much as possible the aromas and body of the original wine. The company emphasizes that no artificial flavors and aromas are used in the production process of Zeronimo.

The win comes against the background of the expansion of activities of Prodelim in the field of non-alcoholic beverages. SOLOS activity started in Germany, and in the last year it also expanded to Spain and the United States, and recently to Switzerland.

The company sees the American competition as a recognition of the ability to produce alcohol-free wine that tries to maintain the characteristics of the original wine, and not settle for a sweet drink that resembles juice.

Zeronimo’s win places the Israeli technology of Prodelim behind one of the brands that received the highest recognition in the alcohol-free wine category in the American competition this year, and provides the company with a backbone for its continued expansion in the international market.
