It is completely electric, his head is a bright ring. His name is Atlas and he is the successor of the recently retired robot of the same name. It came out of the Boston Dynamics factory, where they claim it was designed for real-world use. Many call it ‘the most dynamic humanoid robot in the world’.
In the video published by Boston Dynamics, you can see how Atlas wakes up, stretches his legs and arms, and turns his head and torso 180 degrees.

Atlas’ first job will be at the parent company Hyundai’s car factory. According to the creators, it is the perfect training ground for testing new applications of Atlas.
