Tekken 8, plans revealed with new characters and updates

Bandai Namco has revealed the calendar of additions and updates expected for the next few months in Tekken 8, the fighting title released this year on PC and consoles. The development team is committed to ongoing work to optimize battles, with specific adjustments that will be implemented starting this spring. The main goal is to refine the balance of the game, directly taking into account community feedback over the past few months.

With the arrival of summer, Tekken 8 will introduce the first free updates. Among these, the launch of a new stage, the Seaside Resort, stands out, which promises to add a fresh setting to the challenges between players. Additionally, a new Photography mode will be introduced, allowing players to capture and share spectacular moments during their games.

Autumn will bring further news, with the introduction of a new free storyline featuring Eddy Gordo, one of the most charismatic and beloved characters on the roster. New game modes will also be added, such as Ghost vs. Ghost and Online Practice, designed to further enrich the online experience and offer new challenges to players. One of the most anticipated announcements concerns the return of Lidia Sobieski, the Prime Minister of Poland, who will appear as the second downloadable character. Lidia will be available this summer and can be obtained in early access by holders of the Character Year 1 Pass.
