They create a method that gives more speed to your computer without changing components

Forget about changing components on your computer.</a A team of researchers from the University of California, Riverside, The United States has created a method with which you can even double the speed of a team.

That way you will no longer have to change the hard drive, RAM or even a processor, which are the parts that we normally think about replacing to give more power to a computer.

This is a method they have called Simultaneous and Heterogeneous Multithreading (SHMT), since it works with the same components that are available. What it does is take advantage of the CPU for general calculations, the GPU for graphics and even the TPU for machine learning.

As indicated on the page ComputerHoy, the team of researchers maintains that a computer has enough processors to do different tasks.

The secret is that multiple subtasks are done simultaneously in parallel, thus increasing efficiency and reducing energy consumption. The only thing that needs to be done is a software update.

This method has already been tested and it was possible to double the execution speed of a program while reducing energy consumption by 51%. It could soon be available to the public.
