The RA-US working group for the implementation of the Washington agreements held its third meeting on April 1, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and US Deputy Secretary of State Sonata Coulter, who heads the American side, emphasized progress in various directions of cooperation, talked about steps to strengthen strategic partnership. Economic cooperation, energy, critical and cutting-edge technologies are mentioned as such.
On August 8 in Washington, Armenia initialed the pre-agreed text of the bilateral peace agreement with Azerbaijan.
In November, it was reported that the Armenian-American working groups started working for the implementation of the Washington agreements and the development of the “Trump Way”.
The State Department announced in October that the US government plans to create the first working groups with Azerbaijan and Armenia by the end of this year.
The report does not specify what stage the working groups are currently in.
