Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on his social media page X that “14 million brave Iranians have already expressed their willingness to sacrifice themselves to protect Iran.”
“I also sacrifice my life for Iran, and I will continue to do so,” he added, referring to the ongoing assassinations of members of the Iranian leadership, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani.
Earlier, Iranian Deputy Minister of Education Alireza Rahimi made a call on the social network X to form a human chain around power plants to prevent the attacks announced by US President Donald Trump.
“I urge young people, cultural and artistic figures, athletes, to take part in the national campaign “Human Chain of Iranian Youth for a Bright Future.” Starting at two o’clock on Tuesday (April 7), we will stand hand in hand around power plants to say, regardless of our beliefs and tastes: targeting public infrastructure is a war crime,” he said.
