London police said they have charged 45-year-old Issa Suleiman, originally from Somalia, with a knife attack on two Jews in the Golders Green area in the north-west of the British capital.
Suleiman faces two charges of attempted murder and one charge of carrying a bladed weapon in a public place.
The attack took place on April 29. The victims were 34-year-old Shloime Rand and 76-year-old Moshe Shein.
British media write that Issa Suleiman suffers from mental illness and has had episodes of violence in the past.
The attack is classified as a terrorist attack.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned another anti-Semitic attack, calling it outrageous. An additional £25 million has been allocated to ensure the security of Jewish institutions.
