Iran suspends negotiations with the US and closes Hormuz

Iran has suspended exchanging messages with the United States in protest “against Zionist crimes” in Lebanon. This was reported by the Iranian Tasnim agency. “The Iranian Armed Forces and all branches of the Resistance Front are determined to respond to Zionist crimes,” it read. “Iranian negotiators stressed the need to immediately stop the aggressive and brutal operations of the Zionist regime’s army in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the need for a complete withdrawal of the regime from the occupied territories in Lebanon”Tasnim further explained. “Until the positions of Iran and the resistance are satisfied on these points, there will be no negotiations,” he reiterated.

Media: Tehran will close Hormuz and target Bab el-Mandeb

Iran intends to completely close the Strait of Hormuz and also aims to block Bab el-Mandeb, on the Red Sea. This was reported by the Iranian news agency Tasnim, close to the Pasdaran. After the Israeli offensive in Lebanon, Tehran “has put on its agenda the determination to completely block the Strait of Hormuz and to activate other fronts, including that of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, in order to punish the Zionists and their supporters”, Tasnim assured.

Tehran, violating the war in Lebanon is violating it everywhere

Iran has once again reiterated that it considers the ceasefire established with the United States valid on all fronts, including Lebanon. And warned of possible consequences. “The ceasefire between Iran and the United States is unequivocally a ceasefire on all fronts, including those in Lebanon. Its violation on one front is a violation on all fronts,” Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi explained on X. “The United States and Israel are responsible for the consequences of any violation,” he warned.
