Ukraine and Russia exchanged another group of prisoners. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, 185 captured servicemen and one civilian returned home from Russia today.
“The soldiers represent different types of troops: the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard,” Zelensky said.
The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that 185 Russian servicemen returned from Ukrainian captivity. Official Moscow claims that the exchange of prisoners became possible thanks to the mediation efforts of the United Arab Emirates.
