Turkey supports the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, according to APA, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated at the press conference held after the tripartite meeting of Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia in Istanbul.
He emphasized that they hope that Armenia and Azerbaijan will sign the peace agreement without delays.
The head of the Turkish foreign policy department noted that “Azerbaijan’s well-founded concerns must be resolved.”
The Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that Turkey will do everything possible to establish peace in the South Caucasus, and that the will shown by the parties has opened a window of clear opportunities for the region.
Hakan Fidan noted that Turkey continues the dialogue with Armenia in coordination with Azerbaijan.
According to Fidan, significant progress has been made in the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia during the last four years.
