Three Israelis were killed in a light plane crash near Washington

Three Israelis were killed in a light plane crash tonight (between Saturday and Sunday), about 30 kilometers east of the capital city of Washington. According to the evidence, the pilot and the two passengers who were killed were the only ones on the plane. Maryland State Police troopers are investigating the circumstances of the crash, which are unknown at this time.

Investigators believe the plane took off from Ocean City, New Jersey and was on its way to Montgomery County, Maryland. The emergency centers received the report of the crash through an iPhone alert shortly before midnight, and the search in the area continued until 3:45 am. The remains of the plane were found in a wooded area, behind an urban neighborhood.

The plane, according to the reports, was part of the flight school in the area and the flight took off for training. “It was dark, without lights.
