IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohammadi said, according to Iran’s ISNA news agency, that an unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down in the southern part of Bushehr province after overnight US airstrikes by the Guard Corps’ air defense system.
The American side has not yet commented on the reports of the Iranian army that the American MQ-9 drone was shot down.
Today, the Iranian media reported about several explosions in the south of Iran, on the island of Qeshm, in the city of Sirik, and near the strategic port of Bandar Abbas.
In a statement released today, the IRGC also said that they had hit the facilities of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain and the Ali al-Salem airbase in Kuwait.
