Amnesty has declared the center for victims of violence founded by J. K. Rowling “anti-human rights”

Amnesty International has declared a center for survivors of sexualized violence founded by writer JK Rowling to be “anti-human rights” – on the grounds that it does not help trans women.

“We are witnessing anti-human rights movements that undermine the rights of women and the LGBT+ community in the UK,” AI said. In addition to Rowling’s Beira’s Place, the list included 50 other organizations that were considered gender discriminatory.

The writer did not leave this unanswered: “It seems (as many of us have suspected for years) that Amnesty is convinced that certain types of people do not have rights. These are women, girls and those who are attracted to members of the same sex. I hope that sponsors will not ignore this,” she was quoted by Scotland’s The National.
