The commander of the Aerospace Forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said that Tehran will not stop its attacks until the United States stops striking Iran’s southern coast and the Strait of Hormuz.
In her message, Majida Mousawi states: “Tehran and the south are one and indivisible, they are one and the same Iran,” adding that “effective and targeted strikes against the enemy from all over Iran will continue” until attacks on “the southern coast and the Strait of Hormuz stop.”
Iranian media reported that on the night of July 17, American forces attacked the airport in the city of Iranshahr in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchistan. The airport’s power supply was disrupted and one person was injured. Bridges and a railway station in the coastal city of Bandar Khemir in Hormozgan province were also hit.
