An employee of a research institute associated with Roscosmos was arrested in Moscow on charges of treason

The Moscow petty bourgeois court arrested Maxim Kravchuk, a researcher at the Moscow research institute TsNIIMash, on charges of high treason. The institute is subordinate to the Roscosmos corporation.

As Meduza writes, the 35-year-old aerodynamics specialist was detained on June 24, his birthday, and at the end of the month he filed an appeal against the arrest. The circumstances of the case are classified, since we are talking about treason.

It is noted that Kravchuk became at least the fourth employee of the research institute accused of treason since 2019. It is also the seventh known case of a defense scientist being prosecuted since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
