The Lebanese Army urged citizens to refrain from traveling to Zoutar al-Gharbiya

The Lebanese Army command reported that army units continue to carry out tasks in the southern regions of the country, including the settlements of Farun (Bint Jbeil district) and Srifa (Tire district). Al-Manar reported this on Monday, July 20.

At the same time, coordination is underway with the International Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L) with the aim of starting the deployment of the Lebanese army in the village of Zoutar al-Gharbiya (Nabatiyeh district) after the withdrawal of Israeli troops from there.

In this regard, the command of the Lebanese Army called on citizens not to come to Zoutar al-Gharbiya and to comply with the instructions of the military personnel stationed in the area in order to ensure their safety.

This statement confirms that the deployment to Zoutar al-Gharbiya has not yet begun and is expected after the withdrawal of Israeli troops, while Lebanese Army units are already carrying out tasks in Faroun and Srifa.
