Against the background of the activities carried out today in “Arinj Mall” belonging to the family of arrested businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, the Investigative Committee announces: “The voluntary structures of the 3.5 ha plot of land in the village of Arinj, Abovyan community, are located under high-voltage power lines, endangering the lives and health of citizens.”
Due to security reasons, the body conducting the proceedings has sealed some voluntary structures on the plot, the parking lot and part of the trade pavilions attached to it, the message states.
According to the publication of the CC, the expert specifically noted that the existing voluntary structures on the 3.5 ha plot located at Arinj address are located (built) in the safety zones of the high-voltage power transmission lines, as well as in the protection zones of the Yerevan-Abovyan 1520 mm railway line.
Parallel to the actions of the law enforcement officers in “Arinj Mall”, the employees of the fair are carrying out a protest action today.
The participants of the action told “Azatutyun” that they heard at the level of conversations that the reason may be the high-voltage electric wire passing over their stalls. They asked if the law enforcement officers noticed it only now, the gathered people were pointing to other buildings in the area, which are also under the high-voltage power line.
Other companies owned by the PAP leader are also bankrupt, and the employees are actually on forced idle time. Earlier, the law-enforcement organization informed “Azat” in writing that the companies belonging to Tsarukyan’s family were sold “for the purpose of business operations and inventory” without any other additional details.
