At least two Palestinians have died and several have been injured due to different attacks carried out this Tuesday by the Israeli Army against the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreed with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in October 2025.
Medical sources cited by the newspaper ‘Filastin’, linked to the Palestinian militia, have confirmed one fatality and multiple injuries as a result of a drone attack against the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the center of the Palestinian enclave.
This is a 38-year-old man identified as Ahmed Husein Kafina, according to the Palestinian news agency Sanad, which states that the bombing took place in the vicinity of the Balata market in Nuseirat.
There has also been a drone attack against a home in the Al Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, which, according to Sanad, has killed at least one person.
For its part, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have not commented so far on these attacks, although they have announced the death of a member of Islamic Jihad in an attack launched this Monday in Khan Younis, in the south of the Palestinian enclave.
According to the Israeli Army, this is Mohamed Khaled Mohamed Aslam, who “participated in the kidnapping of Israeli civilians” on October 7, 2023.
“Recently, Aslam had promoted terrorist plans against Israeli Army forces and citizens of the State of Israel. The terrorist posed an immediate threat and was eliminated in a precision airstrike,” the IDF said.
Despite the truce, more than 1,200 Palestinians have died in Israeli attacks in Gaza, where the death toll has risen to more than 73,300 since the start of the offensive following the attacks against Israel in October 2023.
