The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Wildberries center in Ryazan, the company is looking for warehouse space in Kazakhstan

On the night of July 29, the Ukrainian armed forces attacked the Ryazan region. The targets of the attacks were the logistics center of the Wildberries company and one of the largest oil refineries in Russia.

Fires started at the facilities. The region’s governor, Pavel Malkov, said that a fire had occurred at industrial facilities, and Wildberries management said that the logistics center had been evacuated in accordance with safety requirements.

Wildberries, which is called the “Russian Amazon”, is subject to targeted Ukrainian attacks. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky states that the company’s warehouses also contain military equipment. Until recently, its website had a separate section “products for SVO”. Even though it has been removed, items can still be purchased.

According to Kommersant, Wildberries has begun searching for warehouse space in Kazakhstan and is ready to occupy all of the available space in the country. In Russia, space owners refuse to rent “due to risks.”

Thus, the company wants to remove at least part of its logistics from Russian attacks. At the same time, the construction of logistics centers in Astana and Almaty with a total area of ​​260,000 square meters is underway. Note that at least 440,000 sq.m. have been lost in Russia. warehouse space, which is 8% of their total volume.
