The death toll of illegal migrants trying to enter the Spanish enclave of Ceuta in Africa has risen to 67 people. The Spanish government announced this, noting that a barrier will be installed along the breakwater in the sea – after about 60 thousand migrants broke through the border the day before.
The flow of migrants stopped after Spain and Morocco urgently sent additional army and police units to the border. There were clashes on the Moroccan side of the border as security forces used water cannons to push people away from the border area. At least one bus and seven cars were burned during the unrest.
