Mojtaba Khamenei’s Statement on Congressional Elections: US Will Continue to Be Hostile to Iran

Iranian media published on November 4 an address by Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, in which he allegedly stated that the outcome of the congressional elections would not change the Americans’ hostile attitude towards Iran.

“If anyone still hopes for a change in American behavior due to political changes in the American system of dominance, he is deeply mistaken,” Rahbar said in a statement.

Khamenei’s address also speaks of the inadmissibility of new concessions to the United States. According to him, Washington is seeking unconditional surrender. Khamenei reiterated that if the war resumes, it will go far beyond the region.

The statement is timed to coincide with the Day of Struggle against World Imperialism celebrated on November 4. Since Mojtaba did not appear in public after February 28, its real author is unknown. However, Iranian media regularly report on meetings between regime leaders and the Supreme Leader – without providing video evidence.
